E-ticketing Transaction Status Requirements
Air Status Codes
Air segments within a Passenger Name Record (PNR) are assigned a specific status code. This code indicates the status of the segment and determines the actions that can be taken on it. For example, a segment with a confirmed status can be ticketed, while a segment with a waitlisted status cannot.
WEB Status Codes
The WEB status codes are used to indicate the status of e-ticketing transactions. The following table lists the WEB status codes and their meanings:
WEB Status Code | Meaning |
---|---|
NO | Not open for ticketing |
UN | Unable to ticket |
HX | Hold |
UC | Unconfirmed |
Segments with a WEB status code of NO, UN, HX, or UC cannot be ticketed. These segments must be manually confirmed before they can be ticketed.
HK Status Code
The HK status code indicates that the segment is confirmed and has three confirmed seats. This code is typically used for group bookings.
AN Status Code
The AN status code indicates the status of an air segment. The following table lists the AN status codes and their meanings:
AN Status Code | Meaning |
---|---|
OK | Confirmed |
WL | Waitlisted |
HX | Hold |
UC | Unconfirmed |
Segments with an AN status code of OK are confirmed and can be ticketed. Segments with an AN status code of WL, HX, or UC cannot be ticketed. These segments must be manually confirmed before they can be ticketed.
