Improved noise reduction with DeepPRIME XD

DxO PhotoLab 8 introduces DeepPRIME XD, an updated version of the DeepPRIME noise reduction technology. DeepPRIME XD promises even better noise reduction, especially in challenging lighting conditions and with high ISO settings. DxO claims that DeepPRIME XD can reduce noise by up to 2 stops, without compromising image detail.

Before and after examples

DxO has released a number of before and after examples that showcase the capabilities of DeepPRIME XD. In one example, a photo taken at ISO 6400 shows significant noise reduction when processed with DeepPRIME XD. The noise is greatly reduced, while the image detail is preserved.

In another example, a photo taken in low light shows improved noise reduction with DeepPRIME XD. The noise is reduced, and the colors are more vibrant.
