KPRC 2 is a Houston, Texas, television station affiliated with NBC. The station is owned by the Graham Media Group and is part of the Graham Media Group's NBC affiliate group. KPRC's studios are located in the Near Northside neighborhood of Houston, and its transmitter is located near Missouri City, Texas.

KPRC-TV first began broadcasting in 1949 as KLEE-TV. The station was founded by Gordon McLendon, who also founded several other Texas television stations. In 1954, KLEE-TV was acquired by the Houston Chronicle, which changed the station's call letters to KPRC-TV. The station adopted its current NBC affiliation in 1955.

Over the years, KPRC-TV has been a leading news source for the Houston area. The station has won numerous awards for its journalism, including several Emmy Awards and Edward R. Murrow Awards.
